Oh So is a new title dedicated to female skateboarders and their stories and images. The magazine was founded by Rob Hewitt and really came about due to his daughter’s growing interest in skateboarding over one summer. Seeing a need in this “oh-so” niche market when they went to find a magazine about female skateboarding, Rob decided to publish one himself. One that celebrates female skateboarders globally! (Check out the upcoming Mr. Magazine™ interview with Rob Hewitt this week!)
Road Grays is a new independent magazine about baseball and focuses on the human stories behind the game. It is original nonfiction stories from the world of baseball — from the sandlot to the majors, from the game’s early history to the present day. The magazine is beautifully designed and illustrated and Mr. Magazine™ is excited to welcome it to the newsstand fold.
Spectacle is a quarterly illustrated fiction and lifestyle magazine that is striving to be a collectible with its great illustrations and dynamic writing. From the cover to its inside pages, the magazine is well worth its $20 cover price and definitely makes a statement. Welcome Spectacle.
And the other Baker’s Dozen are just as intriguing and beautiful. Enjoy our great February covers and we’ll see you soon for a marvelous March!
Until then…see you at the newsstands…
******And please remember, if Mr. Magazine™ can’t physically hold, touch and purchase the magazine, it does not enter the monthly counts. And counts now include only the titles with a regular frequency that are either new, first-seen on Mr. Magazine’s™ radar, or arriving to the national newsstands for the first time.
